The Shin Buddhism & New Science 325 Seminar is a comprehensive and inspirational course that covers the core of Shin Buddhist tradition through the original writings of a famous reformer and its founder, Shinran Shonin. Also, the course covers the connections between the New Science and Buddhist spirituality and offers a fascinating look into the BFF of Ct/ NASBA's organizational system based on the insights found in these new sciences.

Topics to be covered include: astrophysics, contemplative science, living systems theory, complexity theory, chaos theory, field theory, neuroscience and quantum physics. This intellectual and deeply spiritual course is scheduled from October to June.

This 325 Seminar is open only to those graduates of our 201 & 301 courses, or with special permission for those with strong basic knowledge of Shin and Mahayana teachings, who wish to continue their study and practice Shin Buddhism and its relation to the New Science through the direct readings of classic Shin teachers and its founder of Shinran Shonin.

Furthermore, the course explores the teachings of two important and modern Shin reformers and pioneers, Shigaraki and Seki that have inspired the BFF/NABSA religious philosophy and spirituality. In addition, the course looks into the BFF of CT/NASBA’s revolutionary organizational style based on the discoveries in New Science and then discovers deeper relationships between the New Science and Buddhism in general. The question will be how does the New Science integrate with Shin Buddhism?
